Los Angeles-based company Polydrops is on a mission to take adventuring to a new level with the addition of the P17X Explorer to its line of modern trailers. This futuristic-looking cabin for two is the perfect match for Tesla’s Cybertruck, with its polyhedral-shaped and shiny paneling.
100% handmade, the P17X has a lightweight, four-season weatherproofed cabin with 8.7 inches of insulation that is 15 times more resistant to heat transfer than traditional travel trailers, meaning you’ll be nice and toasty inside.
There’s room for two to sleep comfortably, as well as a pet, with an air conditioner and heater built-in. The interior also has numerous cubby holes for storage, Bluetooth speakers, and a hidden 110V outlet to keep all your devices charged.
The pull-out kitchen has everything you need, including a 45-liter fridge and freezer, induction stove, six-gallon water tank, large sink, and a pull-out table. There’s even a handy wireless smartphone charger.
If you can’t get through the morning without a cup of Joe, you can even hook up your coffee maker and whip up a tasty brew. Other appliances such as a toaster and microwave can also be used in conjunction with the 2.4 kWh battery and 260W providing solar power panels.
Along with looking good, the P17X comes equipped with front body armor to protect against damage from the elements, 29″ All-Terrain tires, and 15″ of ground clearance so you can explore all types of land. A roadshower is handy for keeping clean while an awning provides shelter from the elements and is a great spot to chill during the day.
Addition battery upgrades are available (4.8 kWh and 12.0 kWh) as well as an external solar port.
The P17X Explorer starts at $34,990 USD and can be pre-ordered now with a fully refundable $1,000 deposit. The trailer is expected to start shipping next summer.
