Star Wars toys first hit store shelves in the mid-1970s

Gear

It wasn’t until the release of The Phantom Menace in 1999, however, that Star Wars-themed Legos entered the galaxy. Be it the Death Star Lego set or the Lego Star Wars Clone Wars sets, the new brick sets allowed kids to build entire scenes from a newly expanded Star Wars universe. There are so damn many Lego Star Wars toys out there that finding the best ones is more difficult than winning the Battle of Malachor.

If you’re going to buy Star Wars Legos, there are the ones every Jedi should own.

There’s a lot to like about Poe Dameron’s X-wing fighter from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, beginning with its visually-striking black and orange color scheme. It has retractable landing gear, wings that open, and a cockpit with room for the Poe minifig.
